Why is because the autorun launcher doesn't work under Quake III Arena and double clicking the CD-ROM drive in the hard drive give the following error &quot;While the media is readable is has not been designed for the current system&quot;.  To remedy this right click on the CD-ROM drive after the Quake III Arena disc has been put in, click on Open and double click Setup.exe.  Also, remember to run the 1.32 Point Release afterwards.  </description>

Don't listen to those who say their DOS quake works and Their GLquake works. For me with DOS quake it just planly wouldn't run. As for GL, it starts up, but when it tries to play the demo, all I get is the sound from the demo, and video freezes. Winquake on the other hand, runs beutifully</description>
